As an artist, my goals are and have always been to promote the artist in me and in others.  Promoting art actually means growing as an artist in developing your skills and looking for Art Patrons that appreciate my style of painting.  The goal for all artists is to sell their artwork.  Through sales, the artist can continue to paint, sculpt, photograph and etc.
Several years ago I gathered ideas from others on how art affects each of us.  I have labeled these ideas into TEN REASONS TO CONSIDER ART.    I want to share these ideas with you, and to let you know what this artists is all about:
  1. Visual arts, as music, theater, dance, 2 & 3D art, and the written word, are a real and solid reflection of the character and vision of humanity in each moment and era of our existence.
  2. Visual art, whether one is aware of it or not, saturates our society.
  3. Visual arts is stimulating
  4. Art can be therapeutic by releasing ideas that might not be recognized otherwise.
  5. Visual art is reflected in fine food, architecture, gardens, wearable fashion, interior design, book illustrations and publication layouts.  Art influences all things around us.
  6. Seeing art through the eyes of an artist can often see the world a little differently—a little more deeply.
  7. Culture might be defined as the creative human expression of  complex ideas.  There is no culture in a society without art.
  8. Visual are reflects the colors of the garden nestled in each one of us on our planet.
  9. Art is the righteous face of the world.
  10. Without visual art, the world would be a very dull place to live.

These 10 ideas are not my thoughts alone, but the thoughts of many without one person to give credit for the brilliant definition of creative arts.
